Flinders house
This beautifully considered timber home in rural Flinders was designed by Sally Draper Architects while we were responsible for the furniture and styling. For the main living/dining area, the palette was kept earthy and relaxed to reflect the architecture and landscape surrounds with Douglas and Bec's beautiful RD armchairs in an olive leather and Jardan's sunny sofa in a textured driftwood fabric. The warm tones of the berber rug tie the pieces together, softening the concrete floor and picking up the brown and amber tones in the stone fireplace. The TV room was given its own personality with a stronger tonal palette of blue/green; the striking blue Fogia sideboard is paired with the comfort of casual love seats and a delightfully decorative vintage oushak rug. These pieces mixed with the some of the client's own give the home its individual character.
